Lee's in the Community

In the past few weeks, the Lee’s Team was able to participate in a few community service initiatives.

In Logan, the Lee's team had the opportunity to help fill and place sandbags alongside the Logan River to protect the homes there.

One team member shared: "I loved this service project because it was in the community and for the community in a time of dire need. I was able to spend time with families that we were helping, and one in particular really impacted me. She cried as she said to us, 'I don't know how to thank you enough for what you're doing.' I later found out that her husband was scheduled to be tested for Leukemia later that day. Being able to do something to protect their house from flooding when she and her husband were physically unable to do so themselves will be a memory I will cherish forever."

In North Salt Lake, Lee’s team members were able to help the city of North Salt Lake in their Arbor Day celebration by planting trees. “They had an arborist there teaching us about the trees and the proper ways to plant them,” shared Megan, “We talked about how grateful we are to be a part of this because a lot of us live in the community and will be able to watch the trees grow and be able to share it with our children.”

Lee's mission statement includes the commitment to "support the local communities in which we serve." We are grateful for the opportunity to help in any way we can, #TheLeesWay.
